REQUEST LESSONS
You/Your child loves animals and the outdoors.

You want less time on screens and more time building confidence and independence.

You value hands-on experiences that promote emotional growth and life skills.

Whether you or your child is a complete beginner or has a bit of experience, our program is designed to meet you where you are and help you flourish.
If youâre looking for lessons for your kid - our program is tailored for children aged 6 and up.
At this age, kids can safely interact with horses, learn riding techniques, and begin to absorb the deeper life lessons that come with caring for and working alongside these amazing animals.
If your child is younger, we can offer a condition-based analysis to assess whether or not theyâre ready for riding lessons with us.
We also offer lessons for adults - our school has a ton of new and seasoned riders, so youâre not alone!
We provide everything you need to start riding - no horse ownership or gear required. Just bring your boots, excitement to learn, and weâll handle the rest.
Unlike seasonal sports with short 3-month cycles, our riding lessons provide steady growth and consistency without the stress of game days, team schedules, or extra coordination.
Our experienced instructors are not just teachers â they're mentors who are passionate about helping you become the rider you've always dreamed of being.
Picture yourself riding through lush pastures and open trails, surrounded by nature and the gentle breeze.
Our horses are the heart of what we do. They're friendly, well-cared-for, and perfect for all riders, whether you're just starting or ready to compete.
Your safety comes first. We provide all the necessary guidance and gear to ensure you ride confidently and securely.
At Wild Heart Riding School, we begin with a three-month commitment. This introductory period allows you or your child to settle into the rhythm of horseback riding, build confidence, and discover the pace and frequency of lessons that feel right for you/them.
Horsemanship â learning to understand, handle, and care for horses with respect and responsibility
Riding time â developing balance, coordination, and skill in the saddle
A tailored experience â instruction adjusted to your or your childâs comfort level, personality, and progress
By the end of 3 months, you/your child should be able to walk and trot comfortably. A fine option if you are okay with slower progression.
With this commitment, they'll progress to advanced skills like cantering and developing a deeper understanding of horsemanship.
At WildHeart Riding School, we believe itâs never too earlyâor too lateâto fall in love with horses.
Whether youâre bringing your child for their first ride, getting back into the saddle after a break, or learning something new just for youâthis is your place.
We welcome riders of all ages and experience levels with open arms (and soft muzzles!).
We care deeply about both our riders and our horses. They share equal importance here.
Every horse in our program is treated like familyânever overworked, always respected, and cared for with high-quality, professional equipment.
As of today, 21 amazing horses are part of our lesson program, each one with their own personality and purpose.
Youâll notice the difference right away. We invest in our horsesâ well-being so they can give you their bestâcalm, confident, and ready to connect.
Our instructors teach English and Western styles in both private and group formats, and every lesson is adapted to meet your comfort and goals.
We also have a covered arena, so even when the weather turns, your ride goes on.
As soon as your child is able to focus and follow directions, they can startâtypically around age 6.
WildHeart offers riding lessons for BOTH children and adults! We have a ton of adult riders that are either coming back into riding, want to start something new, or just want to ride for pleasure & relaxation. Youâre not alone! We even have parents that ride with their children as a form of bonding and being outdoors.
Wear comfortable pants and a fitted shirt. Closed-toe shoes with a small heel are safest. We provide helmets if you donât have one.
Not at all! Most of our riders are beginners. You just need a great attitude and love for horsesâweâll help with the rest.
This will depend on your chosen lessons during enrollment. Our average lesson includes about 30 minutes in the saddle, plus 15â30 minutes of horsemanship (grooming, tacking, groundwork). Itâs a full experience, not just riding time.
Safety is always a priority. We pair riders with gentle horses and provide full supervision. Butâitâs a sport. You should be mentally prepared that one day, you might fall. We teach you how to fall safer, too.
Both are available. Private lessons offer focused attention, while group sessions add a social, confidence-building element.
Each lesson includes about 30 minutes in the saddle, plus 15â30 minutes of horsemanship (grooming, tacking, groundwork). Itâs a full experience, not just riding time.
Nope! We provide the horse, tack, and all necessary equipment. Just bring your curiosity and energy.
If youâre able to walk, move around, and listen to instructionâyou can ride. Riding builds strength and balance as you go.
Yes! We canât take on riders who weigh 200lb or more for the safety of both the rider and the horses.
We're at the very end of the road. When you get here, youâll see railroad tracks. Make sure to look left and right before you go over them. Go through the gate, onto the property to the right, past the big horse statue, and park next to the barn. Please do not park on grass.
